Where have the Facebook pages gone?

Facebook has… once again… made changes to their platform, resulting in content from your favourite pages not appearing that often, if at all. No worries, though! Here’s a workaround, despite the far-reaching change, providing ways for you to still see the content you like and want, from the Pages you love.

Here’s how you do it:

  1. Open your Facebook newsfeed and click on the drop-down arrow (top right). Select “News Feed Preferences”.
  2. Click on “Prioritise who to see first”.
  3. Select “Pages only” in the view options. Then choose the pages you want to see first in your newsfeed through here. Click ‘Done’ when you’re finished towards the bottom right.

An alternative:
If a Page happens to be important to you, and you want to continue seeing its content in your feed, go directly to that Page and click on the ‘Following’ button to see a drop-down menu with options on how posts from that Page can appear in your newsfeed. Choosing “See First” lets you see posts from that Page in your newsfeed when it’s posted.

Sharing the posts you like will also tell Facebook you’re happy to see content from these pages – and you’ll end up seeing them more often.
